On returning home from the hospital I first told the entire experience & happenings to my father & mother. And After some days I told my mother that I am going to take a Pilgrimage from Chennai to Palani by walk but my parents refused to send me & i instead they advised me to take bus or car to Palani. In 1977, I once Again told my parents that I want to take a pilgrimage as I desired from Chennai to palani by walk & they accepted. Along with fourteen swamy’s I took my Palani pilgrimage, the first year voyage was Flagshiped by Mamallapuram Sriperiasamy chettiar & he was om chief swamy. As per the blessings of our chief swamy we took kavadi & that night of the first days journey we stayed in Guduvanchery mamarathu vinayagar temple. When I took twenty steps with the kavadi we were able to see the real image of Murugan sitting on the peacock. So like this our voyage continued till Tindivanam & the mean time we reached Tindivanam, foot of all Swamy’s who came along with me were swollen. So slowly we reached Mylam coot road & we took bath in a small pool in the Vilakkampadi Village & then we decided to stop om pilgrimage by walk & planned to continue by bus, so as a last pooja we showed karpuram to the kavadi at that movement lord Murugan showed us the Glittering beautiful Golden foot of his intimated to me that the foot with which we are doing the pilgrimage belongs to him & so he told me that there is no point in discontinuing the pilgrimage. So then we realize our mistake & we prayed to him to forgive us for our silly thoughts. Then he showed us his foot pooja to be performed while on the moves & its effects. Then on the same day night, we slept well. In the morning when we got up & saw on legs were perfectly alright.

When we started om journey from Thangammapatti & when we were continuing om journeywe came across a small bridge near Othapatti. When we were about to cross the bridge an old man came to us and warned us not to enter the  bridge as its filled with algae & fungi which would be dangerous for swamy’s. So he asked us to take right turn. We did as he said & turned back to see the old man but he was not there &  we were able to see Murugan in his incannation. Then we continued our journey and reached Palani temple after fourteen days of our Pilgrimage. We finished our darshan and came back to Chennai & did Vasantha Pooja.

We Started om journey at 8.30 in the morning of our 23rd year of Palani pilgrimage,we were  walking along a thick forest, at that time a nude man came from the forest, seeing him one of our swamy T.Bose took his towel and tied it around the man’s waist. We had nothing to offer him expect money. We gave him some money but he refused to take it & told that we can buy what he wanted with this money. & he walked few steps and disappeared. Then too our surprise we were able to see the towel lying on the floor which we gave it to him. By seeing this all of us were stunned in silence. At that moment we were able to see lord Murugan gave us a darshan as a ordinary man. By Murugan blessings our Palani pilgrimage is continuing for the past 34 years. We are able to give free meals to the people living on the way to the pilgrimage by the offerings given by the devotees.
